Abstract: This document explains important changes made by the Social Security Administration (SSA) to the work incentives available to individuals with disabilities. This includes the yearly increase made to: the Substantial Gainful Activity (SGA) amount, the amount an individual can earn during their Trial Work Period (TWP), and the student earned income exclusion. It also lists the changes made by the Ticket to Work & Work Incentives Improvement Act of 1999.
