ILLINOIS CONNECTIONS: ASSISTING VETERAN & MILITARY FAMILIES – Illinois Connections for Families of Fallen (ICFF)

Losing a loved one in service to our country is heartbreaking but it can also be very confusing for surviving families to understand all of the military and state benefits to which they may be entitled. HDA works closely with the Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) and are available to help survivors understand when civilian resources might be helpful to them and how to coordinate those civilian services and benefits with military benefits.

Through the newly formed Illinois Connections for Families of Fallen (ICFF) Task Force, HDA is coordinating with SOS as well as other agencies around Illinois to create a series of workshops for survivor families.
